My name is John. I’m at New Creations for multiple reasons. The reasons range from stealing my mother’s truck, being in trouble with the law, and being very disobedient. I have only been at New Creations for three months, but in that short amount of time, I have made a lot of progress in the way I think, act, and talk.
The staff at New Creations is the nicest I have ever had when compared to all my other placements. The main reason for that is the presence of God in this placement. It is unlike any other.
Before I came here, I doubted the existence of God. Now I have become much closer to God, and I am thinking about becoming a pastor.
Personally, coming here was the best decision my family has made in a long time. At the time of the decision, I felt like I was a failure and a loser. I was wrong. Now I realize that I’m not a failure, but I am a winner and a champion in the game called Life.

Wilderness Camp 2012 Feedback from the Guys
Brett: For the most part it was a great time; the down side was that being so close in the wilderness, we started getting on each other’s nerves. We had fish we caught and played baseball. It was fun, but we didn’t get much rest.
Tamon: Wilderness camp was fun, it was good to be new and get to know the other guys. Though I may not have been happy to be here, I enjoyed it. (Side note: He has now been here several weeks and really is one of the guys!)

Bryce: I really liked wilderness camp, it was fun and I really enjoyed it! We chased ducks and geese that were down by the lake and fished a lot. We got to fry the fish we caught, it was awesome!
Rolando: Wilderness camp was a week of fun. There were a few struggles trying to keep the fires going in the rain and getting people to pull their weight in the work, but we got through it! We had work and play. It was so much fun that nobody wanted to leave.

Tyler: My week at wilderness camp was pretty awesome! We got to go fishing and swimming, which I love. A few of us caught a lot of fish, which we got to eat! They were really good too! I know that some of us also had a lot of fun dunking people in the lake. At night we would pick on each other about snoring and other stuff. I am ready to do it again!
Chase: Wilderness camp was great! It was filled with laughter, fun and great memories. We got to experience what it would be like to live out in the wilderness. I believe it was a great experience for everyone. Everybody enjoyed it a great deal!
Kyle: Wilderness camp was a very great week; I had a lot of fun. During that week we got to cook our own food, split our wood so we had it to cook with. We swam, fished and canoed all week long. I caught a couple fish and got to eat them. It was a very fun week!
Robert: Wilderness camp was fun! We cooked our own food, split our wood and for the girls’ camp the next week. We had our own fish fry, rode horses, played softball and had a fantastic time! Even though it had been awhile since I swung a bat I could still hit it pretty well.

Alec: Our week was awesome! We really had fun. My favorite food was the fish and Rev’s eggs. He fixed them a special way that tasted great! The coolest thing was getting to fish and make walking canes, cool right? There was lots of food, fun and getting to know each other by the fair. It was great!
Steven: Wilderness camp was awesome! We got to fish, swim, and boat; it was all fun! The only thing I did not like was the raccoons; they wanted to get into our stuff at night!
Austin: I enjoyed wilderness camp a great deal as I got to hang out with the guys and do guy things. My favorite thing is fishing as I have plans to be a bass pro someday, and I can’t wait!
